Return Policy

We happily accept returns of unworn, unwashed, and stain/odor-free merchandise within 14 calendar days of delivery for store credit only. Returnable items must be sent back in their original condition with all packaging, tags, stickers, or hygiene liners attached. For sanitary purposes, please try on bottoms over underwear. We reserve the right to refuse returns for garments showing any signs of wear.

Due to the nature of a small independent business, all sales are non-refundable. Each unique product at Space Island is lovingly made in small batches. While we are confident you will love your purchase, we highly recommend confirming sizing before placing your order. We are always happy to help. We simply do not have the capacity to offer refunds once an order has shipped. Thank you so much for understanding and for supporting slow fashion.

Ineligible Items for Return:

  • Worn, altered, or washed items

  • Items missing original packaging and tags

  • Items on sale or discounted 30% or more

  • Custom orders

  • Hand-painted Space Boots

Exchanges

We don’t offer direct exchanges, but if you’d like a different size, color, or item, we will issue a store credit code for the value of your order. Store credit works just like a gift card and can be used toward a different size, style, or saved for a future purchase.

Starting a Return

To begin a return, email us at hello@spaceisland.com. Once approved, please ship the item(s) back within 3 business days of receiving your return label. A $10 flat-rate return shipping fee will be deducted from your store credit. Any unapproved or late returns will incur a 20% restocking fee for the entire order.

Defective or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us within 24–48 hours of delivery. Include your name, order number, and clear photos of the item(s), and we’ll work with you to resolve it quickly.

Changing or Cancelling Your Order

Need to cancel or change your order? Contact us as soon as possible. We may be able to cancel for a full refund before it ships, but once it’s on the way, changes can’t be guaranteed.

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse orders due to errors, product availability, or suspicion of fraud. This policy may be updated at any time without prior notice.
